This is the recommended format of an ExO Presentation:
- Frontpage
- Introduction:
- Begin with a captivating opening slide that grabs the audience’s attention.
- Introduce yourselves and your team members briefly.
- Problem Statement (make sure to pitch the problem really clearly, see example below)
- Massive Transformative Purpose (MTP)
- Mention the problem you are addressing and the Massive Transformative Purpose (MTP) behind your initiative.
- The Solution
- Present your solution (response to the disruption) to the problem.
- Explain how your solution is unique and differentiates you from existing approaches.
- Highlight the benefits and advantages of your solution.
- If applicable, showcase any prototypes or visuals that demonstrate your solution’s potential.
- Market Validation
- Show the validation you have accomplished so far through your experimentation.
- Explain also what you are working on validating but have not yet completed. This can help others understand how they can help you in your work to validate your market related hypothesis.
- Use also market validation from external sources, such as competitors who already validated a particular business model or Ai already applied on a similar use case successfully.
- Value Proposition
- Short and clear value propositions are key to pitch successfully.
- User Case(s)
- Apply your creative storytelling combined with (ideally) real-life end users that already benefit from your value proposition.
- Business Model (with ExO Attributes)
- Discuss how your initiative incorporates the Exponential Organization (ExO) attributes.
- Explain how you are leveraging exponential technologies, such as artificial intelligence, robotics, or 3D printing, to drive your solution.
- Showcase how you are utilizing the power of community and crowd to scale your initiative.
- Highlight any innovative business models or organizational structures you are implementing.
- Explain how you create, deliver, and retain value.
- Discuss your revenue streams and potential monetization strategies.
- If applicable, share any partnerships or collaborations that support your business model.
- Competitive/Unfair Advantages
- What is your unique advantage that makes YOUR initiative win the markets, rather than someone else?
- Roadmap to Exponential Growth
- Illustrate the potential impact of your initiative.
- Share any early successes or milestones achieved during the ExO Sprint (such as results from your experimentation).
- Discuss your scalability plans and how you aim to reach a global audience.
- Describe the team that can implement this initiative and the key resources this initiative requires.
- Call To Action
- Conclude your pitch with a strong call to action.
- Clearly state what you need from the audience or the leadership team. This is where you ask for the needed resources to take you to the next milestone(s)!
- Emphasize the potential benefits and opportunities that can arise from supporting your initiative. How will your company benefit from supporting your initiative?
- Backup Slides
- This can be useful data points, experimentation results etc that did not make it into the 6-minute pitch, but that Disruptors or potential clients may ask you to explain.
To get started quickly building your presentation, you can download this structure via the link at the top of this page. You still need to apply your visual design, and not least your content.
